Import Duties & Taxes

At ValvedExhausts, we want to make sure our customers have all the information they need before placing an order. Please take a moment to read through the following details regarding import duties, taxes, and customs fees.

Who is responsible for duties and taxes?

All international orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and/or taxes that are applied by your local customs office once your order arrives in your country. These charges are not included in the price of your product or shipping cost.

The customer is responsible for paying any additional fees required by their country’s customs authority. These charges must be paid in order for your package to be released and delivered.

Why aren’t duties included at checkout?

Since customs policies vary greatly from country to country, we cannot predict or control the exact amount you may be charged. Duties and taxes are determined by your local government, and ValvedExhausts has no involvement in these fees.

Refusing to pay customs charges

If you choose not to pay the required duties/taxes and your package is returned to us, we will refund your order minus any shipping costs, return fees, and restock fees charged to us by the courier.

How to estimate import costs

We recommend checking with your country’s customs office or tax authority to get an estimate of what duties and taxes may apply before placing your order.
